Victorian Landcare Grants Program now open

Expression of interest open until Sunday 5th June 2016

The Victorian Landcare Grants Program aims to enable community based environmental groups undertake effective on ground works that increase ecosystem resilience and contribute to sustainable landscapes.

In order to achieve this, the grants program supports groups, networks and projects that can:

  • mobilise community volunteers to undertake natural resource management (NRM) activities in the Goulburn Broken Catchment
  • positively influence the management practices of private landholders
  • build the skills and capacity of the community to undertake NRM activities.

The guidelines for the Victorian Landcare Grants Program are the same as last year:

  • we are calling for projects from the region’s community based NRM groups and networks of up to a maximum value of $30,000;
  • a maximum of 15% of the total project can be used for project management; and
  • it is recommended that projects are scalable to allow for part funding.
