Warrenbayne - Boho LandAs part of Warrenbayne Boho Land Protection Group’s Whole Farm Planning project, we invite members of our broader Landcare network to a workshop with ecologist Angelina Siegrist from the ANU Sustainable Farms team, and Associate Professor Jim Radford from La Trobe University.

Associate Professor Jim Radford is Co-Director of the La Trobe Research Centre for Future Landscapes which aims to develop next-generation tools and solutions to address the global challenge of sustaining natural ecosystems in human-dominated landscapes.

Sustainable Farms is an initiative of the Australian National University that brings science to the paddock, sharing science from over 20 years of ecological research on farms. Sustainable Farms ecologist Angelina Siegrist, will discuss the latest research on ways to manage natural assets on farms for both biodiversity and production benefits.

Topics that will be covered include:

· Protecting and enhancing remnant vegetation

· Optimising shelterbelts and plantings

· Enhancing farm dams

· Managing riparian areas
