Gecko Clan Landcare Network is running a free bus from Benalla and Euroa to this event.

Bus departure times:

· Benalla 9am – State Government Office, 89 Sydney Road, Benalla

· Euroa 10am – Seven Creek Park – Public Toilets, Kirkland Avenue, Euroa

· Arrive Yarck 10.45 for 11am start.

Valley Seeds is an Australian-owned seed company focused on developing new pasture varieties for Australian farmers. It has scaled up its breeding program since 2007, developing varieties to meet the specific demands of Australian farmers and the variable climatic conditions they face every year.

Seed farm tour presenters

Andrew Wood – Regional Business Manager, with vast experience in the ag industry and specifically, the dairy business. He’s held key roles with Stockfeed, Fonterra, Lactalis and Lely robotic milking systems, run his own part-time time consulting business Redwood Ag Solutions

Andrew Harborne – Regional Business Manager, Andrew has deep understanding of pastures and a dogged determination to help farmers maximise yield and get ahead. He will be presenting on managing pastures in drought.

This project provides landholders with drought preparedness, early decision making and drought recovery techniques delivered regional community forums and webinars. The project will be delivered from September 2023 to June 2025.
