Are you interested in monitoring the health of your farm – vegetation, birds and animals, water, soil and micro-organisms?

Could data and trends on your natural assets help you with your management decisions, marketing of your produce or accessing new incomes sources?

Pukawidgee Land Management is hosting a new project investigating ecological monitoring and natural capital accounting on farms.

The first event will focus on monitoring soil function and birds on farms. Participants will also have the opportunity to help guide future workshops.

When: Saturday 2 March 2024

Time: 9.30am-3pm
What:
 Rachel de Lastic from Soil Land Food will demonstrate a range of easy DIY soil function monitoring techniques available to landholders. Debbie Hill will demonstrate a Birds On Farms survey technique she has been using for long-term monitoring as part of Birdlife Australia’s Birds on Farms program. Participants will take away simple step-by-step field guides.

The workshop is FREE. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided.
