Come and hear about our local koalas from wildlife ecologist and koala guru from the University of Melbourne, Dr Kath Handasyde. Kath has studied koalas for many years and is an expert on their ecology and habitat needs as well as the impacts of habitat fragmentation on their survival.

Hear about where we might find koalas in Longwood East, the Strathbogie Ranges and across the Tarcombe and granite hills, what they eat, the trees they live in, and how long they live. Learn about threats and join in discussions on how we can create local koala habitat.

Bring a picnic and stay for lunch.
